BODY MILK — A body milk is a lightweight body lotion, designed to nourish the skin. It instantly absorbs into the skin, leaving no greasy feeling. Great for those who do not like the feeling of thick body care products. Body milks are great for carrying scents. They leave a long-lasting scent on your skin.
BODY SILK — A body silk is a deeply hydrating body oil, designed to create soft, nourished and hydrated skin. They help reduce dryness. Great for those who want glowy, smooth skin. Body silks leave a long-lasting scent on the skin.
BODY BUTTER — A body butter is a creamy, rich body moisturiser, designed to instantly melt onto the skin, leaving the skin feeling super soft and hydrated. Body butters leave a silky film on the skin, creating skin barrier protection. They are made from natural ingredients, apart from fragrance and colorant, meaning they need no preservative or water. Because they contain no water, they are more long-lasting than a lotion or cream, so your skin feels hydrated all day.
BODY SCRUB + POLISH — A body scrub can be formulated with either sugar, salt, coffee, pumice stones and nuts. Body scrubs are designed to exfoliate the dead skin cells. A foaming body scrub exfoliates, but also works like a soap, a multi-use product. They cleanse the skin at the same time. Body polishes are oil-based, therefore do not cleanse the skin. Body polishes work well to get rid of any rough areas. Salt and coffee scrubs are the strongest to get rid of very dry rough areas, whereas sugar and brown sugar are more gentle on the skin.
BODY CRÈME — A body crème is a very thick, creamy body cream, designed to deeply hydrate the skin. Body creams are water-based, meaning they absorb into the skin fast, therefore leave a velvety texture, a different texture to body butters. Body crème’s are great for those who need quick moisture to their skin. Body crème’s have a lighter scent then butters and lotions.
SHAVING BUTTER — A shaving butter is a bath butter, which is used during shaving time. Shaving butters are thick and creamy. They also cleanse the skin, so no soap is needed when using these. They leave the skin feeling soft.
WHIPPED SOAP — A whipped soap is a rich, thick, creamy body wash, designed to cleanse the skin, but also leaving it feeling smooth. Whipped soaps will last you longer than liquid body washes, as only a small amount is needed.
BATH NECTAR — A bath nectar is a bath product that is designed to be used as body wash, shampoo and hand wash. It is a multi-use product. Unlike ordinary bath washes, bath nectars are slightly thicker and feel creamy. They lather on really well, meaning only 1 pump is necessary for the body, or 2 pumps for the hair. They leave a long-lasting scent, especially if used as shampoo. Bath nectars don’t contain as many nourishing ingredients compared to shampoos, but they are handy for those who need little care, for example - those with short, undyed hair.
